A young Irish girl Nicole Cahill (10) from Enniscorthy, Co Wexford got on her feet after four years. She was affected by a virus which left her paralyzed at the age of six. Now, she has learnt to walk again due to the efforts of doctors in New York Hospital and the Wii Fit. She might walk without any aid by the end of the year. Her mom says that she’s been doing very well and is in therapy for six days a week now.

Ever since Nicole got the Wii Fit as her Christmas present, she has been utilizing it to the full effect. She uses Wii Fit in between her therapies to keep strengthening her muscles. The Wii Fit has benefited her a lot as she can make use of so many balancing and stretching exercises on it taking a lot of pressure off her.
